Sustainable Wooden Toy. For ages 3+. Made in Thailand.
The Plan Toys Farmer has posable limbs and bends at the waist for sitting or standing pretend play. The farmers's head, hands and feet are made of solid organic rubberwood. She has wire (hidden under her clothes and wrapped in casings) - this is what makes her flexible. Farmer is dressed in blue denim skirt, a red plaid shirt and red hat. Clothing is not removable.
Made with Non-Formaldehyde Glue and Water-Based Dyes. PlanToys are made with sustainable materials, including reclaimed rubberwood trees from the rubber and latex industry of Thailand. When our toy makers create toys by cutting, sanding, and drilling into wood, we create a lot of excess sawdust. At PlanToys, we do our best not to waste any materials. We thought long and hard about what we could do with all the sawdust from our factory. In 2010, the PlanToys Research and Development department worked with Kasetsart University in Thailand to develop a new material using excess sawdust. The final result was named PlanWood.
