Rehydrate and use in any cooked apple recipe. Also delicious to snack on. Dried but still soft and easy to chew.Keep refrigerated or in a cool location.

Easy applesauce recipe:  Use two cups of water for every one cup of dried apples. Put in a medium saucepan, bring to a boil, cover and turn off the heat. Let the dried apples soak overnight or for at least 3-4 hours. After soaking, simmer the apples until soft. Stir occasionally and add additional water as necessary so the sauce doesn't get too thick. When apples are soft and loose their shape, mash with a potato masher or run through a food processor. Add cinnamon and other spices and sugar to taste. Serve warm or chilled.
