This dark aged miso from Japan is crafted by the historical artisan miso known as Masuya Hatcho Miso. Since 1337, the craftspeople have adhered to this unique technique to craft and age small batch miso in their century-old wooden barrels. The robust taste makes it incredibly versatile for all kinds of cooking styles and can stand up well in richer, healthier recipes. It's an excellent staple in the kitchen for soups, salads, dressings, dips, and marinades.
